Expert Witness

During any computer forensic investigation, our experts take contemporaneous notes in order to support a later requirement for expert opinion, affidavits or oral testimony.

It is rare in our experience for testimony to be required when the forensic investigation is conducted properly, as the facts obtained generally allow little room for different opinion, especially where experts for different sides are required to discuss the findings.

Palmer Legal Technologies staff has on occasion managed to show that reports from other experts have contained material errors or assumptions. When discussed during experts’ consultation exercises, the original experts corrected these errors, and the conclusions that had been drawn were significantly amended.
